NF DreamMakers contributes to the BC special olympics
supporting the symmetrics cycling team charity project
For the 2004 cycling season, Northern Feather DreamMakers is once again sponsoring the Symmetrics Cycling team, as part of a charity project to contribute to the BC Special Olympics. The team will be participating in about 80 races in 2004, from as far away as Quebec and Arizona to a major Vancouver-area event called the Tour de Delta, which will attract about 50,000 spectators. The Tour de Delta will take place during BC SuperWeek from July 16 to 25. They will tour through Delta on July 18, Gastown on July 21, and White Rock from July 23 to 25.
Northern Feather DreamMakers was a major donor in the 2003 Symmetrics Cycling charity campaign, which raised over $70,000 for the BC Special Olympics, and again participating as a major sponsor for 2004.
Funds raised from this program will provide opportunities for individuals with mental disabilities to enhance their lives and celebrate personal achievement through positive sport experiences.
"We're proud to have Northern Feather DreamMakers as a major sponsor of the Symmetrics Cycling Team. Their significant contributions will help promising BC Olympians and the BC Special Olympics." Kevin Cunningham, Founder, Symmetrics Cycling Team
