Care and cleaning of your comforter / duvet, featherbed and pillows
DreamMakers Down & Feather Pillows, Duvets (Comforter) and Featherbeds
  • Loft: When you unpack your duvet, the packaging will have compressed the air inside the duvet. You can regain your duvet's natural, luxurious loft by letting it warm up and shaking it. Loft up your pillow every morning too! Remember, these natural products take a beating every night. so loft them up, turn them over and air them out on a regular basis.
  • Covers: To protect your investment, it is important to use a pillow protector, duvet cover or a featherbed cover on the appropriate product. Wash the cover when you wash your sheets. See warranty below.
  • Cleaning: down and feather products should be professionally cleaned.
  • Storage: When storing duvets, pillows or featherbeds, make sure they are dry and place them in a breathable cover.

DreamMakers Synthetic Duvets, Pillows and Sleep Pads
  • Cleaning: We recommend professional laundering or dry cleaning of your Synthetic, Wool and Silk products. Most residential washers (particularly those with an agitator) are not designed for cleaning large duvets. However if you do have a large front-loading machine, you may wash your duvet or pillow with a mild soap. Be sure to rinse thoroughly.
  • Drying: Use a low-heat setting. Overheating can cause cotton fabric shells to shrink. Throwing in a couple of tennis balls will help fluff up the duvet.

DreamMakers Linen Products
All our bed linens will look good for many years if they are properly cared for. Some of the most important things to remember are:
  • Wash white and coloured fabrics separately
  • Do not overload your washing machine as it can be hard on any fabric.
  • Always wash duvet covers and pillow cases with the zippers closed.
  • Wash dark shades separately for the first few times because they tend to lose surplus dye.
  • Never overheat cotton or Micromodal fabrics as shrinkage may occur. And do not over dry. Ideally, take them out of the dryer while still slightly damp and hang to dry or iron them at a medium setting.
  • Avoid the use of bleach. Do not use any bleach or spot remover on dyed or printed bed linens.

The DreamMakers Warranty
We stand proudly behind all of our bedding products. All NF DreamMakers products are warranted against workmanship and material defects as specified. This warranty does not cover misuse or normal wear and tear. The warranty allows NF DreamMakers to either repair or replace the product as NF DreamMakers chooses. This warranty is void if a Duvet, Featherbed cover or Pillow protector is not used at all times.
